The star started his career in 2016 after he was picked up as an undrafted free agent following the closing of the 2016 draft. He got into the team on May 9, 2016, but was released on September 2, 2016, after an unimpressive season.
After his release, he signed a reserve/future contract with the New York Giants. He came into the team on January 19, 2017. He became their primary kicker after Giants’ placekicker Robbie Gould went to play for the San Francisco 49ers on a two-year contract.
This was short-lived though as the team signed Mike Nugent, a veteran of the game. He re-won the kicker position as Nugent was released. He had his first NFL game on September 10, 2017. This was the game that happened on the same day his girlfriend went into labor. He had to FaceTime his girlfriend and see his daughter for the first time.

The player had to prove to the Giants that he was a decent player after he had a horrendous first season in the NFL. Luckily, he retained his starting role in 2018 and proved to the higher brass of the club.
Compared to his first season, his stats improved massively. He even scored 32 of 33 field goals. Due to his stellar performances, he became NFC Special Teams Player of the Week in Week 13 of the 2018 season of the NFL.
He even made the pro-bowl on December 18, 2018, and also was on the Second Team All-Pro for 2018. He stayed in New York in 2019 but was released on July 26, 2020.
