Netflix has come to us with a new German thriller series “Biohackers” which tells an exciting story on love, revenge, and friendship overshadowed by the revolutionary biohacking technology and its ethical innuendo.
Biohackers is a six-part Netflix original series produced by FFF Bayern who has previously funded another hit Netflix Series “Dark”. The series is directed by the reputed German film director Cristian Ditter known for his works in movies like “The Crocodile”, “How to be Single”, “Love, Rosie”, etc.
The series was initially set to be launch by the end of April 2020 but the creators took the pandemic situation into consideration and decided to postpone the show. Even though the series does not deal with any pandemic related situation, the scenes featuring at the beginning of the show might have been unsettling for the viewers at that time.

Biohackers Plot
The German technological thriller Biohackers is a biotechnology fiction series.
The plot of the show is centered on a medical student named Mia Akerlund who is studying at a prestigious German University where she meets a talented biology student Jasper and his strange roommate Niklas.
Mia is very curious about biohacking technology and gets involved in illegal genetic engineering experiments while trying to investigate her brother’s death. While on her bold secret mission she learns of breakthrough biohacking results falling on the wrong hands and faces ethical implications.
Overall, the story is totally exciting with its scientific, creative, and mysterious plot.

Biohackers Netflix Season 2 Renewed or Canceled?
The first season of the series Biohackers is yet to be released, so it is a little hard to predict whether the show is going to renew for its next season or not.
Like any other series on Netflix, the online media services provider decides whether to renew or cancel any series based on the viewers’ ratings and reviews. Nobody likes to keep showing the series that are not on demand.
