Caroline Ansell, an English MP has resigned after the motion to extend the free meals camping to the school holidays was rejected by the parliament by a landslide vote (322 votes against to 261 for). 

She was one of the 5 conservatives that backed the Labour Party’s motion after a campaign led by footballer and MBE Marcus Rashford. She has said that she quit her job as a protest to the motion being rejected.
