Henry Cavill

Cavill played Superman and recently became a household name for his role on the hit Netflix series The Witcher. His turn as Geralt of Rivia is one of his most beloved roles. 

Cavill will be playing Sherlock Holmes on the film and his portrayal of the iconic detective got the film in legal trouble when Conan Doyle’s estate filed a lawsuit against them claiming the film infringed copyright. 

Sam Claflin

Sherlock Holmes’ better known siling, Mycroft Holmes is being played by Sam Claflin. He is an English actor who has a lot of popular roles under his belt. Among them, his portrayal of Finnick Odair has gotten him the most fame and critical acclaim. 

The 34-year-old made his debut as an actor in 2010 and has since established himself as an A-lister.

Helena Bonham Carter

Academy award-nominated actress Helena Bonham Carter is one of the most distinguished actresses in the film’s cast. She is a household name and has equal popularity as an independent film as well as a mega-blockbuster actor.

Due to her achievements, she was made the Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2012. She is playing Eudoria Holmes. 

Plot

The premise of the film revolves around the adventures of Enola, the younger sister of Sherlock Holmes. She escapes as her older brothers try to send her to finishing school. While running away on the train, she meets a lord who will hire her as a detective. 

A lot of her traits match with her world-famous brother’s. In fact, she is also a master of disguise who can change between any attire but won’t become a boy because she is smarter than that. 

She shines in her new job and has a lot of skills that help her navigate her new life and job.
