The pop band group from Latin America, CNCO is our latest boy band crush.
CNCO (pronounced as Seen-co) was formed by the famous talent manager Simon Cowell in 2015. Almost everybody knows how ruthless Simon is, right? After all these years being branded as the most difficult judge to impress, we all know that Simon is very picky when it comes to talents. But since these boys won Simon’s Latin American Competition series “La Banda”, CNCO was formed in 2015. And thus Simon created a gem for us.
This relatively new boy band CNCO is already our favorite with its release of some of the best songs and albums like ‘Tan Fácil’, ‘Themselves’, ‘Primera Cita’, and many more. Their songs made it the BillBoard’s top list and some might even say that CNCO is taking the torch and leading a new era of boy-band in the pop genre.

CNCO is comprised of five members. And all these members are heart-throb with millions of fan following. Some people even compare this boy band with the ‘One Direction’ because of a similar history and their rise in popularity. In just their Instagram account, CNCO has over 3.5 million followers. Erick Brian Colón
Erick is the youngest member of the boy band CNCO. He was born on 3rd January 2001 in Cuba. He is currently 19 years old. Along with his great singing talents, he is undeniably very handsome too. This dreamboat of CNCO from Cuba is also active on Instagram under the username “erickbriancolon” and has over 2.2 million followers.
Joel Pimentel
Another heartthrob of CNCO, Joel was born on 28th February 1999 and is currently 21 years old. Joel Pimentel is from Mexico, however, his birthplace is California, USA. He is probably the most popular member of the band. Joel is also active on Instagram with over 3.5 million followers.
Zabdiel De Jesús
Another very talented member of CNCO, Zabdiel is currently 22 years old. He was born on 13th December 1997. Zabdiel De Jesus is originally from Puerto Rico. He is not only skilled in singing but is also adroit in playing the piano, mandolin, and drums. Zabdiel is active on Instagram under the name “zabdieldejesus”. He has over 2.5 million followers there.
Richard Camacho
Richard Camacho is another top member of the CNCO band. He came in second place on the La banda show in 2015. This 23-year-old is not only famous for his singing, but his dancing skill is also top-notch. Richard was born in New York on 22nd January 1997.
However, he calls the Dominican Republic his home. Camacho has grown up with entertainment all around him. His mother was a dancer and his father was also a cameraman and musician. The Instagram handle of Richard is “richardcamacho”.
Christopher Velez
Last but not the least, Christopher Velez is the eldest member of this boy band. He is currently 24 years old as he was born on 23rd November 1995. Christopher is from Loja, Ecuador.
While growing up, he has struggled a lot financially so he could not go abroad for studying music as planned. But this singer has made a huge name for himself now, thanks to his great singing talent and the La banda show through which he gained a huge fan following. He also has over 3.1 million followers on his Instagram account.
