Karen and Deon’s son, Derrico, has caught attention after fans are quite surprised by their son’s head shape. He has appeared alongside his parents and his siblings on TLC’s reality series Doubling Down With the Derricos.

In many cases, craniosynostosis surgery is done on children as early as few months old. However, Derricos does not look like he has gotten surgery.

Deon and Karen Derrico are seeking answers about their 4-year-old son Diez’s elongated head shape.

On Doubling Down With the Derricos, a doctor revealed that he might have sagittal craniosynostosis, making his head shape elongated. Additionally, his parents have expressed concern for their son’s head shape and what it might mean for his future.

Previously, no one has ever been informed about Diez’s head shape and that it could be something severe. It is quite serious, which could lead to sight problems and even cognitive issues for him.

Diez Derricos head shape is not due to injury.

Also, there are no traces of information if Derrico’s head shape is due to an accident or its impression.

Moreover, when the measurement of the little boy, Diez Derrico’s head on a 3D scanner, his skull fused too fast, and if it fused too fast, that means it’s not growing in the normal width.

His father, Deon, 50, reveals that: “It could potentially, a small percentage result in death.”

Meet His Parents

Diez Derricos was born to his parents, his father Deon Derricos, and Karen Derricos.

His parents have 14 children featured on the TLC’s reality series Doubling Down With the Derricos – some of whom are twins or triplets.

They even have a set of quintuplets. Fans are eagerly asking if Diez Derricos parents have their next kid or not – the answer right now will no as she has not announced if she’s pregnant.
