The Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki is taking over the role of Princess Diana for the 5th and 6th seasons of “The Crown”.

This hit Netflix series, The Crown centers on the reign of Queen Elizabeth II and the British royal family starting from the late 1940s.

Season 4 of the popular historical drama series The Crown is yet to be released and is expected to be around November 2020, but recently, Netflix has made a major announcement regarding its future seasons. 

It is not the first time the series has had a change in their cast. When the season jumped from the late 1950s to the 1970s, they replaced all the major casts with older actors in season 3. 

In season 4, the role of the late Princess of Wales, Diana, will be portrayed by the actress Emma Corin. However, in the final two seasons, this role of the princess Diana would be taken over by the Night Manager star, Elizabeth Debicki.
