I met the @jvn yeeeeeears ago (waaaaaaaaay before @queereye) when he was a hairstylist with a podcast, @curiouswithjvn. I always remembered him as nice, genuine, thoughtful, funny, curious, and empathetic. Melissa and Walter met through a common friend in college. The friend named Jill had no idea the persons he introduced would go and marry but it’s really a cute story. Melissa was a theatre director at the time and Walter said truthfully and sort of self deprecatingly that he was a struggling comedian.
They started going out in 2003 and started falling for each other pretty hard. After 6 years of dating, Walter put a ring on that finger and Melissa walked down the aisle.
