Barry played volleyball for Florida State University FSU in her collegiate days. She had clinched the ACC Player of the year title with FSU in her senior season in 2009.
Besides, Brianna made it to the All-American second team with FSU. In addition, she received the ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year honor in 2009.
As a matter of fact, Barry had joined FSU in 2005. She pursued a degree in sports management there. In her career with the Seminoles, she led them to the Elite Eight.
