Thirty-four years old, Travis was arrested along with his father on the murder of Ahmaud Arbery. Similarly, their neighbor, William “Roddie” Bryan, was another person charged in the case.

The release of the video catalyzed a massive public outcry. In April 2021, the court finally charged the criminals with interference with rights. Likewise, Gregory and Travis were also charged with attempted kidnapping and crimes of violence.
