Dunn was a 13 years old teenager who suddenly disappeared from her home on December 27, 2010. She left her mom’s home to visit her father’s house nearby. However, she was never found alive after that.
Over the weeks, billboards and posters were put across Texas. Similarly, police, dogs, and volunteers were dispatched for her search.
Hailey Dunn’s missing case took a turn as she was found dead after three years.
The police eventually found her deceased body at Lake J.B. Thomas in Scurry County.

From the beginning, Shawn Adkins was the person of interest in Hailey’s case. However, Adkins was the boyfriend to Dunn’s mother and the last person to interact with the teenager.
His arrest was eventually confirmed on June 12, 2021, for Hailey Dunn’s murder.

Hailey Dunn was born to her mother, Billie Dunn.
Likewise, her father is Clint Dunn. However, Billie and Clint were separated from each other.
Billie started dating Shawn after the divorce. In 2011, she was even arrested and sentenced to 1 year of probation for lying about Adkins’s whereabouts during Hailey’s missing.
Nevertheless, the mother expressed her happiness as Adkins was finally arrested. She was also thankful for the police.
Likewise, father Clint had even hired his private investigator to solve his daughter’s case.

What Happened to Hailey Dunn? Case Update
Hailey Dunn was murdered by Shawn Adkins.
The police found thousands of child pornography content in Billie’s home-which probably belonged to Adkins.
Likewise, they also discovered similar evidence from Shawn’s parents’ home.
Adkins was allegedly taken to the Howard County Jail. The Texas Rangers handcuffed him. Moreover, his release bond is set at $2 million.
