Shacarri Richardson is not homophobic.

In fact, Shacarri is openly gay. She has already come out to her family as gay. 

When one person asked her in 2015 on her Twitter – “do y’all parents know y’all be gay?”, to which Shacarri replied – “My family know I’m bi” with some emoticons.

Moreover, she has openly spoken about her girlfriend and also has taken social media to embrace her relationship with her partner.

Shacarri Richardson revealed that she has a girlfriend.

In fact, she has also mentioned her lesbian partner multiple times on her social media.

After qualifying for the 2021 Tokyo games, Richardson revealed to USA Today that her orange hair and acrylic nails symbolize “running on fire” which was chosen by her girlfriend.

Well, her beloved girlfriend was trying her best to prepare Richardson for trials and competition.

Richardson also tweeted a singular rainbow emoji on 20th June 2021 celebrating Pride month.

Shacarri Richardson tested positive for the Marijuana drug test.

US track sensation Richardson who punched her way to the Tokyo Olympics after securing a victory in women’s 100-meter race has suspended testing positive for THC, the chemical in cannabis.

According to the US Anti-Doping Agency, she failed a drug test that suspended her from the US Olympic team.

“I want to take responsibility for my actions,” she told Savannah Guthrie in an exclusive interview Friday on TODAY. “I know what I did, I know what I’m supposed to do … and I still made that decision.”
