Jerry Dunigan was released from prison on April 2nd, 2021, last Friday after serving for 45 years. He was greeted by his daughter, Renatta, and went on to meet other members of his family.
The said man was arrested for being a member of the ‘Black Panther Party‘ a black power political organization formed by Bobby Seale and Huey P. Newton in 1966.
The organization used to fight for black people’s liberation and feed the less fortunate kids of the black community: Jerry was one of them. The party was disbanded in 1982 after most of the members were killed or sent to prison.
