Tony Parker is an accomplished NBA star and is a household name in America. He is especially popular in the Texas area for his stint with the San Antonio Spurs.

While the couple is still legally together as of August 2020 they have publicly announced their separation via social media. As per the New York Post, they are separating by mutual consent. 

In a social media post, they said that the separation was made public due to the number of rumors circulating around. Similarly, they also added that they wanted to remain private about the details of their separation. 

Similarly, they also wanted to share with the public that they will be maintaining mutual respect for each other throughout the proceedings. 

The reason for their divorce has not yet been fully disclosed to the public. Some tabloids have speculated that they might have irreconcilable differences as with Tony’s first marriage. 

Parker’s Marriage To Axelle Francine

Tony got divorced in 2001 from his first wife Eva Longoria, the same year he started dating French journalist Axelle Francine. At the time their relationship was just a rumor but they had been seen numerous times in public. 

After their relationship was confirmed, the pair went public and dated for a while before reportedly getting engaged in June 2013.  

They finally tied the knot on 2 August 2014. Before that, their first son Josh Parker was born in April 2014. Around two years later, their son Liam Parker, was born in July 2016.

Parker’s First Marriage Was To Eva Longoria

Eva and Tony first met in November 2004. She is 7 years older than Tony. At first, they denied rumors that they were dating but Eva went on to announce that they were in a relationship in August 2005. 

After a while, they got engaged in a ceremony on 30 November 2006. Two years after getting engaged, the pair tied the knot on July 2007, at a Paris city hall. 

The news made national headlines and the pair were adored by fans. Soon after however, rumors of infidelity started and plagued the marriage although its tenure. 

In December of the same year that they got married, online tabloids reported that Tony was cheating on Eva. The couple strongly denied the claims and he even launched a $20 million lawsuit against the tabloid that first broke the claims. 

Soon after, the claims were retracted by the online tabloid and an apology was issued. The woman who was Tony was reportedly having an affair with was model Alexandra Paressant. He quickly dismissed the claims saying that models use athletes to get fame.

Another rumor soon followed, this time he was allegedly cheating on Eva with Erin Barry. Longoria filed for divorce a short while later on 17 November 2010 and the couple was legally divorced on 28 January 2011.
