The docuseries ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race: Vegas Revue’ featuring the behind the scenes of the lives of former contestants of RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! is headed on to VH1.
The American reality competition series RuPaul’s Drag Race through which the winner becomes America’s next drag queen superstar. RuPaul Andre Charles is a famous American Drag queen, actor, model, and television personality who hosts this show and acts as a mentor and head judge of the series, and contestants are given different challenges each week.
Having 12 seasons to date and many hit spin-off shows like ‘RuPaul’s Drag U’, ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars’, and ‘RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race’, another spinoff of RPDR is coming on VH1 called RuPaul’s Drag Race Vegas Revue.
This show is about the former contestants of RPDR Live! while they were on a residency in Las Vegas at Flamingo Hotel and Casino but their performance in RPDR Live! was put up on hold because of the coronavirus lockdown.

The first episode of this six-part documentary series will premiere on August 21, 2020, only on VH1 at 8 pm ET. New episodes will be premiered with a week interval every Friday.

RuPaul’s Drag Race: Vegas Revue-Plot
This documentary follows around the journey of the six drag queens while they prepare mentally, physically, and professionally for their residency show ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race live!’. The show features the behind-the-scenes of the contestants’ lives while they appear for the jaw-dropping live stage show on their world-famous Vegas trip.
Through this reality series, fans can get a deeper look at the personal lives of their favorite drag queens as they showcase their uniqueness, glamour, charisma, and talent required for them to give a full-fledge live performance on stage.
RuPaul’s Drag Race: Vegas Revue-Cast
The RuPaul’s Drag Race: Vegas Revue depicts the off-screen lives of six former contestants as they take on the Vegas Strip. The drag queen contestants cast in this spinoff are:

- Asia O’Hara
- Derrick Barry
- Kameron Michaels
- Naomi Smalls
- Vanessa ‘Vanjie’
Just like in many other spinoffs, the show is anticipated to be hosted by the titular drag queen RuPaul Charles.
Yvie Oddly
Yvie Oddly is a drag queen, performer, fashion designer, rapper and recording artist from Denver. Her real name is Jovan Bridges.
She is best known for being the winner of Season 11 of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’.
Asia O’Hara
Asia O’Hara is a drag queen, costume designer, and television personality. Her real name is Antwan Mason Lee O’Hara.
She was ranked number 4 in the competition during season 10 of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’.
Derrick Barry
Derrick Barry is another drag queen who was the participant in Season 8 of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ and ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 5’. She is also a professional impersonator of Britney Spears. She was also a participant on Season 3 of America’s Got Talent. She has also performed with Madonna on live tour.
Kameron Michaels
The real name of Kameron Michaels is Dane Young. She is also a drag queen and performer. She was in season 10 of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’. She is more popularly known as the ‘Muscle queen’. She used to work as a hairdresser and has a penchant in creating fantasy makeup looks.
Naomi Smalls
Naomi Smalls is the stage name of Davis Heppenstall. She is a model, performer, and a drag queen. Naomi was previously seen in Season 8 of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ and ‘RPDR: All Stars 4’. She was the runner up in both series. She is listed as the top 100 drag queens in America in New York Magazine in 2019.
Miss Vanessa ‘Vanjie’
‘Vanjie’ is also known as José Cancel. Vanessa is a drag queen who was a participant in Season 10 of ‘RPDR’ but had an early exit. She later returned for season 11 of RPDR.
She is one of the most popular drag queens of the RuPaul’s Drag Race franchise. Her farewell videos after elimination from season 10 had given rise to popular internet meme also. You see, her name was Miss Vanjie, and she was eliminated super early from the show, so everybody was like do you ‘miss’ Vanjie?
