Ahmad Alissa, the primary suspect has been taken into custody by the police. However, he was injured in his legs and had to get admitted to the hospital for treatment. His current state is stable though.
While the motive behind the shootings remains a mystery, the suspect’s brother, Ali Aliwi Alissa has opened a few things up about the suspect.

Ali Aliwi Alissa is the elder brother of Ahmad Alissa, the primary suspect of the Colorado shooting.
Moreover, Ali Aliwi is currently 34 years old, 13 years older than his brother. Giving an interview with The Daily Beast, he describes his brother as mentally ill and disturbed.

Unfortunately. Ali Aliwi Alissa’s parents have not come out yet. It is totally understandable given the situation they are in.
Speaking of his family, Ali also has a younger sister. She is 30 years old.
Moreover, his other sibling decided to keep a low-profile and didn’t give his name to the media.

Ali Aliwi Alissa originally comes from Syrian ethnicity. However, his nationality is American.
Furthermore, Alissa is recognized as a follower of the Islamic religion. However, religion has nothing to do with the shooting initiated by his brother, which, according to him, was a disturbed mind of a mentally ill person.
His brother, Ahmad is currently in custody and faces 10 counts of murder charges.
