Andre Oshea’s Chadwick Boseman NFT

Andre Oshea’s Chadwick Boseman NFT has collected tons of bad responses from the critics and Boseman fans.

The NFT rendered a gold bust of Boseman’s head decorated by a dazzling CGI effect. It was unveiled last Saturday as a tribute to Chadwick’s Hollywood journey.

The 3D animation was based on Chadwick’s role in the artist’s favorite film, Black Panther. He tried to present Chadwick’s influence in raising awareness about colon cancer among the Black communities.

But the artwork could not please Chadwick’s fans, who were upset at the actor did not receive an award for his role in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. So, they poured their critics into the NFT.

Andre Oshea’s Twitter Post: What Did He Say?

Andrea Oshea’s Twitter released a post on April 27, notifying that he “will be redesigning the artwork.”

Oshea, through the notice, says he now knows that Chadwick’s face is a “triggering reminder of his death rather than his life.” So, he will redesign it soon based on the comments and critics he received.

The NFT will be on auctions soon. Also, Oshea said he would be giving 50% of the fund he receives to the Colon Cancer Foundation.
