Harry Treadaway is an actor who started his career back in 2005. He has worked on both TV and film.
The 35-year-old was born Harry John Newman Treadaway on 10 September 1984 at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in Exeter, Exeter, Devon, England.
He grew up in Devon with his twin brother Luke Treadaway, and an older brother Sam.
After studying at his local school and high school, he went to Queen Elizabeth’s Community College along with his twin Luke. They played rugby while in college.
Harry Treadaway’s Career In Film
Harry started and his brother loved Eddie Vedder and his music, so they started a band called Lizardsun with the help of their drama teacher.
They also joined the National Youth Theatre. They learned the ropes of the acting business at the Theatre.
The brothers started his professional career with the movie Brothers of the Head. Both the brothers played main roles in the film which was about conjoined twins who are in a punk rock band.
During the movie’s production, the twins were together for more than 15 hours a day where they had to wear sewn-together clothes. As a matter of fact, they even slept together to bring life to the characters and their conjoined nature.
Following his 2005 debut, Treadway starred in another movie in 2007 titled Control. After this, he worked on the City of Ember, The Disappeared, and Love You More in 2008.
In 2009, he played Billy on Fish Tank. The next year, he was featured in Pelican Blood.

Treadway’s career on TV is way more successful than his career on the big screen. After getting his debut role on the small screen in 2006, he got the main role in 2007’s Cape Wrath.

His best-known work came in 2014 when he was cast as Victor Frankenstein on Penny Dreadful. He played Victor till 2016.
