Hayley Kiyoko is a renowned American singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress. She began taking dance lessons as a child. Her interest in entertaining brought to her working as a child model and actress. She appeared in a variety of films, including the Scooby-Doo! film series from 2009 to 2010, Lemonade Mouth (2011), Blue Lagoon: The Awakening (2012).
Her other film credits include Jem and the Holograms (2015), Insidious: Chapter 3 (2015), and XOXO (2016). Alongside her film roles, she also held a recurring role in the television work The Fosters (TV series, 2014) and a lead role on CSI: Cyber (TV series, 2015–2016) and Five Points (TV series, 2018–2019).
Hayley Kiyoko was a supporting member of The Stunners in 2007. The group reinforced Justin Bieber’s My World Tour, before disbanding in 2011. After this, Kiyoko issued three solo EP: A Belle to Remember (2013), This Side of Paradise (2015, which includes the single Girls Like Girls, and Citrine (2016).
She released her debut studio album called Expectations on March 30, 2018. Following the singles Sleepover, Feelings, and Curious. The album hit the top 20 of the charts in the United States, Canada, and Australia. She has also completed a comic book, with the help of Naomi Franquiz and Marla Vazquez, based on her third EP “Gravel to Tempo”.
Following the release of Expectations, she released the single I Wish in 2019. She then released the first track from her fourth EP, I’m Too Sensitive for This Shit, which was released on January 14, 2020.
Hayley Kiyoko has two siblings named Alysse and Thatcher. In 2009, she graduated from Agoura High School. She was discovered at 5 when she went with her friend to a photoshoot and began acting at a young age. Her national commercials include GM Onstar, Slim Jim, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
At age 6, she took drum lessons and was writing drum charts for new releases and selling them in a local music store by age 11. She wrote a song called Notice at age 8, which her father still encourages her to release.
