Jason Antoon is an American actor. He is of Lebanese origin and is best known for his role in the 2000 Tony Award-winning musical “dance play” Contact, Susan Stroman and John Weidman developed it. He received a Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical for his performance.
Career
Jason Antoon is best known for his television work. He starred on the short-lived TV series Kings (2009). Besides, many guest roles in many programs, including Modern Family (2010) in the episode “Game Changer”.
He made his first television debut as Victor Stromfeld in the 1996 police drama New York Undercover. From 1996 to 1999, he played Abdul / Cab Driver in the sitcom television series Spin City. He appeared in Law & Order (TV series, 1997–2006).
In 2001, Jason appeared in three television series including 100 Centre Street, Ed, where he played as Deejay and Sex and the City as Framer. He then played Mr. Mazin in the 2002 Live from Baghdad and crime drama television series Hack.
On the big screen, he had a featured role in Minority Report, when Steven Spielberg discovered him in Contact. In 2008, he had a cameo in Taking Woodstock (2009) and we soon saw him in two 2010 George Gallo films, Columbus Circle (2012) and Middle Men (2009).
Jason Antoon played in Shameless (TV series, 2016) and Claws (TV series, 2017-present). Also in 2017, he played in the sitcom television series Fresh Off the Boat and Famous in Love. In 2021, he played the lead role of Ernie Malik in NCIS: Hawai’i.
