Aviva Okeson-Haberman was a news reporter. She was a young radio journalist for KCUR 89.3 channel who used to cover basically the political news.
She died on Sunday, April 25, 2021, during the afternoon time while she was working inside her Kansas City apartment. Her unsudden death has caused distress over the news world. Many colleagues and public officials are offering condolences for her on Twitter.

The young journalist was planning to move to Lawarance for a new job covering criminal justice issues for the Kansas News Service.
Furthermore, an investigation is being carried on to find the possible shooter.
