Why am I smiling? …because @TheOutsiderHBO premieres tomorrow at 9pm on HBO and this is one that I’m really proud of, folks. It’s my second time working with a good number of the gang, and they have really set the storytelling bar high. Like for instance, I 1st met him working on @Bloodline and @mendelsohnben is one class act…a welcoming, funny, and magnanimous #1 whom I have come to adore sharing the screen with. He’s as encouraging and kind as he is talented in the beginning, and when he gets to know and respect you, he really goes above and beyond. So grateful to him. * * Both @StephenKing shows I have done have been highlights of my career thus far…both for the quality of the story, the characters, and the thrill for the viewers (he gives us SO much to play with as actors)…but also as an experience working on them. Both emblazoned in my memories as high-water marks by which all future sets will be measured by. * * Although I didn’t share the screen with @cynthiaerivo on this one, I did have the pleasure of working with her on @HarrietFilm – and I can tell you this woman is just as lovely as she is talented. So looking forward to seeing her brilliance shine as #HollyGibney. (My fav character in the book) * * And lastly, @jason_bateman . Although I worked on @Ozark , I missed being directed by him by one episode, both times. This time around, I had the absolute pleasure of not only being directed by him, but also got to work opposite him. I have so much admiration for Jason…for the work he does on and off the screen, but also the quality of people that he brings together when doing so. It’s a family, and it’s a whole new ballgame getting to play on one of his sets. (There’s a reason he’s an Emmy winner) I wish this experience for all of you. * * Speaking of which, a huge shoutout to both cast and crew. You all made coming to work…feel NOTHING like coming to work. Thank you, all – so excited to see your craft on the screen!! * * This is what I put out to the universe, more experiences like this please.
