On April 25, Sunday, Devin Cannady had suffered a severe lower leg injury, during the Pacers-Magic Game.
The athlete went on to challenge Edmond Sumner of Pacers but their legs got tangled up while they were landing which caused Cannady’s injury.
He collapsed on the ground and was screaming in pain. Blood had gushed out from the injury and medics were quick to come.
They had then carried him on a stretcher to the hospital and concluded a surgery needed to be done.
Post-surgery, the athlete came on his Twitter and revealed that he had suffered an open right angle dislocation and a severe lateral ankle sprain.
However, upon further inspection, it was found that his bones and cartilage were intact.
He will now be going into rehabilitation but is expected to make a full recovery.
