Dakota Johnson’s sexuality has long been debated by her fans. In fact, ever since she gave an interview to Vogue, people have speculated that she is bisexual.

While Johnson has not explicitly confirmed that she is bisexual, she has dropped some major hints about her sexual orientation in her interviews.
In an interview with Vogue, the actress said that she is charmed by young women who are coming to terms with their sexual orientation. She further added that by proxy, she had been experiencing coming to terms in her own life.
The piece was published by Vogue back in 2017 and it has resurfaced since then. Fans on Twitter have gone berserk over the recent resurfacing.

Twitter users are flooding the platform retweeting and sharing the interview as many times as they can. Some users have even started celebrating the apparent news that she is bisexual.

One user, who goes by @femmeonfilm, even tweeted about the star’s sexuality and claimed that she is bisexual because the short Johnson is wearing in the photo says girlfriends on it.
Similarly, some other Twitter users have shared their wish to see Dakota remake Fifty Shades of Grey with a female opposite her.

Did Dakota Johnson Date Cara Delevingne?
In 2016, Dakota was just out of a relationship with Matthew Hitt. Then, she started working with Cara Delevingne. They were seen attending concerts and going to various events together and that is when speculations began.
Like Dakota, Cara was also fresh out of a relationship with female musician St. Vincent. In fact, St. Vincent had started dating Kristen Stewart and there was a lot of PDA between Stewart and the musician.
Some outlets speculated that Dakota and Cara were comforting each other from their recent breakups. In addition to this, Cara had also been publicly bisexual for some time when speculations began.
The pair never confirmed their dating rumors but fans still speculate about the nature of their relationship.
In similar fashion to fans wanting a Fifty Shades remake with Dakota and Sandra, a lot of fans also want a remake starring Dakota and Cara.
Is Dakota Dating A Girl In 2020?
Johnson is not dating a girl in 2020, in fact, she is dating the lead vocalist of Coldplay, Chris Martin. They have been linked together since 2017 when they were spotted together at a sushi restaurant.
They were heavily linked towards the end of 2017 when Dakota was seen attending a Coldplay concert in Argentina and sources confirmed that the pair were dating.
Martin and the actress started getting serious after around June 2018 when they were seen walking Martin’s dog, Zeppelin, in Malibu.
There were also speculations that Dakota was pregnant with Martin’s child in October 2018, which she swiftly denied.
They briefly broke up in June 2019 but got back together soon enough. Recently, the singer and actress shared a video together trying to educate fans on how to wash their hands following the break of the pandemic.
In February 2020, Johnson directed the music video to Coldplay’s song “Cry Cry Cry.” This was her first project as a director. Many sources have claimed that the pair are going to get engaged and married soon but there is still no official word.
