Hywel Griffiths might have unusual skin and face conditions because of cancer.

Griffiths is a Welsh Television News Correspondent. He had attended Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi from 1989 to 1996. In 1999, he completed his Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Bristol.

A year later, in 2000, he was handed his Master’s degree in Medieval History by Queens College. Thus, we can confirm that he has a great knowledge of history.

The journalist Hywel Griffiths has been a part of BBC since the beginning of his career.

He had kicked off his professional life in September 2000 when he started to work as a news trainee. From September 2001 to December 2001, he worked for BBC as their broadcast journalist.

Moreover, he has even worked as their senior broadcast journalist. After working for more than 6 years as the Wales Health Correspondent, Hywel was appointed the Wales Correspondent in April 2012. 

From September 2016 until September 2019, he worked as a Sydney Correspondent. However, he immediately returned to becoming the Wales Correspondent. Now, he continues to work in the same position.
