Back in October 2018, there were rumors about the app being shut in the US. The issue regarding the app being banned in the US is taking rounds recently. Is this a smoke without fire?
Following the investigation by US intelligence officials in December 2019, the US army advised their soldiers to not use TikTok. In June 2020, the US Navy banned the app from government-issued android devices. They are calling it a cybersecurity threat.
Is TikTok Banned In the USA and Australia Alike India?
The US Navy has restricted its officials from using the app. So, there is no TikTok for army officials in the United States. Ever since the news broke, Americans are curious whether the app is banned for real. However, there are not any official confirmations regarding the national wide ban of TikTok in the US.

Not just in the United States, the rumors regarding the shutting down of TikTok are growing live wildfire in countries like Australia, Hong Kong, and others. After India banned TikTok, the rumors of the app being banned in other countries are growing rapidly.

However, there is not any official news about the app being shut in the US and Australia. So, you don’t have to worry about the app being shut.
Is TikTok Safe For Kids? Is it a Danger?
These days teenagers are involved more on social media than at anything else. Using social media like TikTok for recreational use is fine by any means. But, the way youngsters are getting more and more involved in TikTok doesn’t seem to yield a fruitful result.
There are several things on social media like TikTok both useful and harmful. For teenagers and kids, it will be tough to figure out what is good for them and what is not. If kids are using apps like TikTok parental guidance is necessary. Too much use of TikTok is certainly not safe for kids who have no idea about what’s good for them.
Why is Chinese App TikTok Called Spy Software?
In December 2019, the US Navy banned the Chinese app TikTok and claimed it is a threat to cybersecurity. According to Forbes, Apple claimed they have caught TikTok secretly spying on iPhone users. Moreover, several iPhone users have also tweeted about TikTok being spy software.
