She was probably pissed off because her mother, Nichole, had been in and out of jail. She lived with her grandmother, who one day happens to find the drugs she hid inside a drawer.
To teach her a lesson, her grandmother sent her to the same prison where her mother is. Even though Jasmine was unwilling to be going there, her grandmother convinced her, saying that she loved her and is wishing to protect her.

Her grandmother sent her to the same jail as her mother to be heartbroken to see her. Her grandmother believed that this would have straightened her up.
Jasmine’s mother was furious to find out her daughter in the same jail. Her intentions were clear – she never wanted her daughter to follow in the same footsteps.

Jasmine’s age when she appeared in Beyond Scared Straight was 14 years old.
That was back in 2015. This means that her current age after six years is definitely 20 years. However, we do not have her date of birth to prove that she is exactly 20.

However, she can be found on Facebook (private) and Instagram (2.6 thousand followers). Since both her accounts are private, we aren’t able to gather much information about her.
Where Is She Now?
After hearing her mother’s struggles, Jasmine is now back home and has improved a lot in the past six years.
You can actually tell it from her Instagram bio, which reads that she is the sweetest girl. However, we remain unknown if she has quit drugs or not. Hopefully, she will update her recent details soon.
