The Prince is favored to be the heir, the Crown Prince, because of the title ensured to his mother, the “Great Queen.”
His father, King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu, was the longest surviving reigning King for 50 years.
The former King had six wives and 28 children. His mother had eight children, including Prince Misuzulu.
His mother, Queen Shiyiwe Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu, was the Princess of eSwatini and the King of eSwatini, King Mswati III.
Since the Queen was already a royalty and the condition to make her the late King’s Great Queen, she accepted during their marriage.
