Sunil Freeman is a social activist who ran as the Vice-Presidential candidate and the running mate of Gloria la Riva. He is a member of the Political Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL). 

Freeman is considered one of the most diverse political candidates in the 2020 elections. He is also an advocate for disability rights. Sunil was born to refugee parents at the time of India’s fight for independence. Sunil Freeman is the other Indian-Amerian Vice presidential candidate in this election 2020, much like Kamala Harris of the Democratic Party.
