Tony Hudgell’s story begins as he is ready to walk 100 steps.

Tony Hudgell is six years old boy from Kings Hill. Unfortunately, little Tony has amputated both of his legs. But, this doesn’t stop him from achieving milestones. He is set to walk 100 steps without his crutches from April 30 to May 3.

Tony’s Parents: What Happened To Him?

Tony Hudgell’s biological parents were Jody Simpson and Tony Smith.

When Tony was just five-week-old, he was abused by Jody and Tony so badly that doctors had to cut off his both legs. After the police found about the horrific crimes, Tony Hudgell’s parents were jailed for 10 years.

Now, Tony Hudgell lives with his adoptive parents: Paula and Mark Hudgell. Both Pula and Mark are extremely supportive of their son.  Just last year, the media pictures Hudgell hugging his new parents after finishing his steps. 

His Fundraising and Charity Walk 

Tony Hudgell is fundraising via his 100 steps challenge.

He was inspired by late Captain Sir Tom Moore, who took 100 laps to raise funds for NHS during COVID-19. Moreover, Daily Mirror even awarded Tony with the Pride of Britain Award.

Tony Hudgell’s charity walk has already raised £1.5 million pounds. Similarly, he is donating the money to Evelina London Children’s Hospital. It is the same hospital where Hudgell was treated for his injuries.
