On Wednesday, March 25, 2021, Rico Marley was arrested from the Atlanta Publix Supermarket in Midtown at Atlantic Station as he entered with a rifle. Learn about his family and background details here.
He was seen walking openly carrying a rifle. An eyewitness informed the police immediately as Rico entered the bathroom. Police officers quickly reached the location as they located and detained the man as he exited the bathroom.
During the investigation, officers recovered two long guns, four pistols, and body armor.

Rico Marley’s Ethnicity and Background Explored
Rico is of mixed ethnicity and is an American by nationality.
There is not much information on his background. Atlanta Police Department has been investigating his past. Till now, it is not confirmed if Rico was involved in any other serious crimes prior to this one.
However, his bond was denied due to his family violence history.

The 22-year-old suspect, Rico Marley, was arrested after the investigation and transferred to the Fulton County Jail for further processing.

The firearms and body armor are taken under control. These will be used as evidence by Atlanta Police Department.
According to CNN, APD will also conduct a mental health evaluation on the suspect.
