The Texas Longhorns Basketball head coach, Shaka Smart has left the team after six years in the NCAA division. It is quite right to say that the coach never felt like he belonged in the six odd seasons.
As a result, he was fired as the head coach. But with crisis, comes opportunity. Smart is reportedly closing to signing a contract with Marquette University to coach their basketball team. The reports are almost confirmed as the head coach may find a different home in Wisconsin.

Shaka Smart had two years left in his contract before being fired.
The contract guaranteed Shaka Smart a salary of around $7.5 million in two years. Also, the basketball coach has a net worth of multi-million dollars.
However, he is set to be the head coach of Marquette as the club is approaching him to finalize the deal. The contract details are not available yet but it is supposed to be of over $3 million of annual salary.

He and his wife, Maya Payne Smart tied the knots in a beautiful ceremony in 2006. As for his family, they have a beautiful daughter who was born in 2011.
