The Government of Australia has recently reported the second death of an Australian staying in India due to COVID-19.
The man identified as Govind Kant was a director for the top electric company, Trina Solar.

Kant had recently flown to India in April due to some personal reasons. However, he contracted the coronavirus during his stay in the country.

Govind couldn’t return to India as the Australian government had imposed a travel ban on the nation from India. This was a response to the soaring cases of COVID-19 in India.
Sadly, he passed away in May of 2021 in a Delhi Hospital.
The businessman was a resident of Sydney in Australia. On the other hand, Govind Kant’s ethnicity was rooted in India.

He was working for Trina Solar for over 6 years now. He started his job as a Sales Manager in 2014.
Moreover, Kant was recently promoted as an assistant director of the company in Feb 2021.
Previously, the businessman served at the RFI company in Sydney. He was employed there between 2010-2014.
