15-year-old Makiyah Bryant was shot dead by a Columbus Police Officer Tuesday night in Ohio. The incident took place on the same day when George Floyd’s family got justice as the verdict was announced on the trial after a year-long BLM protest.

One of the neighbors Ira Graham III spoke to the reporters after Hazel. She said that she heard four gunshots and ran out to see police giving CPR to Makiyah. Graham believes they did not have to shoot her. Makiyah was just a child and she is sure she did not have any intentions of stabbing other girls.
According to Makiyah’s mother Paula Bryant, Makiyah was an honor student and had a motherly nature. Her mother expressed anguish as she said she did not deserve to die on the streets.
People are protesting on the Columbus shooting scene, demanding the police officer to be arrested.
The state’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation is carrying out the investigation of the case.
