Olivia and Brett Married At First Sight, are the newest couple to get hitched in the season 11 of this popular reality show. It seems bizarre to get married to some stranger at their first meeting, but the format of this show is based on it.
It makes great content for a reality program where people dive in to get married with nothing but blind faith.
The show features five couples in a season who are selected for each other by several experts like marriage counselors, psychologists, communication and relationship expert, pastor, and humanists.
After the couples are married in the show and go for a honeymoon, they live together for eight weeks as a married couple. At last, they are required to give a final decision whether will they stay together or get a divorce. To date, many couples have had a successful married life even after the show while some got divorced.
The latest season of Married at First Sight (MAFS) is going to be released on July 15. Olivia and Brett are one of the couples in this season.
Who is Olivia and Brett From Married At First Sight?
Olivia
Olivia was born and grew up in Bossier City, Louisiana.
She is 30 years old and she had dedicated her life to education and career for a long time and thus never had time for her personal life.
She studied Master of Science in Nursing in Iowa and used to work in clinics. But she wanted to stay closer to her hometown so she took a position at a comprehensive stroke center as a Nurse and moved to New Orleans, Louisiana.
She mentioned that she have worked very hard for her career and now is ready to devote the same dedication and time in her relationship also.
Brett
Brett was born and raised in Gretna, Louisiana.
He is 35 years old and has an excellent career in information technology. Brett has recently become an AWS Cloud Practitioner certified.
According to Brett, he believes that arranged marriages are the primary and historical means of matchmaking and it has been successful for a majority of people in the past. So, he is open to putting his faith in Married at first sight to find a perfect bride for him.
Is Brett the bad one in this season of MAFS?
Brett acts very flirtatious with the women and is also known as a serial dater. While, on the other hand, Olivia is very simple who had no time for dating while she was working hard in her nursing career.
There are many speculations made about whether this pairing would be successful or not and based on the sneak peek of the Bachelors’ party, there seems to be a red flag about Brett as he flirts with Henry’s friend, Kristen.
Some people might also think that this may be the alcohol talking but it sure makes us question Brett’s trustworthiness. While talking casually with the grooms in the Bachelor’s party, one of them asked him what if Olivia would not fall for him? In reaction to this, Brett snapped out with his overconfidence and said that any woman would be crazy to be not attracted to him. So this has made fans to roll over their eyes on him.
Married at first sight has a record of having at least one villainous type of person and viewers are starting to guess that this time it may be Brett.
But we cannot be sure whether he really is a bad person as the sneak peeks of the teasers are not the full clips and we don’t know the context properly yet.
