Romy Vilsaint was a 12-year-old kid from the Flatbush neighborhood Brooklyn.

Vilsaint went to PS 361, The Nostrand School. He was in the fifth grade. Romy died on Friday, May 7th.

He was beaten in his school, as told by his father. He died at the Kings County Hospital.

Romain is 52 years of age.

In fact, his mother lives in Haiti with three of his sisters. Romy’s mother wanted to bury him in Haiti after his death.

Romy had an older brother.

Sadly, his brother died in a motorcycle accident in Haiti three years ago. Romy’s father is now left with deep sorrow for the death of both sons.

Romy went home on Thursday, the day he suffered the attack.

However, his condition became worse a day later as an ambulance took him to the hospital.

The Department of Education asked an independent body to investigate the case. No updates have been heard since then.
