Even though the manga is over, we fans can still look forward to the second season of the anime and the theatrical release of the movie “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train”. The movie is set to be released in October 2020 while there is no official confirmation of the release of the second season of the anime.

Kanao is one of the very talented demon slayers who is about the age of Tanjiro. She is very shy and an introvert but analytical and hard working. Because of Kanao’s talent, she reached the level of pillars in a relatively short time. She almost never speaks to anyone. Due to her abused childhood, she is quiet and has trouble making decisions. So she flips a coin to decide anything.

Oh, what to say about this funny guy Zenitsu. He really cracks us up because of his reaction and how he stays in a constant state of fear. Despite being the one shot one kill slayer and who utilizes the Breath of Thunder style, he has pretty low self-esteem. But although he has a cowardly nature, he is always ready to help his friends even in the most dangerous situations and tries to become the hero in front of all. 

Oyakata-sama or simply Kagaya is the calmest person and a decent leader of the demon slayer corps. He speaks very softly and dearly with his followers and friends. He is a compassionate person who cares about every demon slayer. Even though he cannot fight himself because of the curse, the powerful pillars of Demon slayers respect his idealistic way to lead.

The insect pillar of the Demon Slayer corps is very inventive and versatile. She has a pretty strategic outlook in her fighting style. By compensating her lack of physical strength she slays the demon with her smartness and poison. Shinobu has a quite laid back personality and is very bold.

Kyojuro may look strong and fearful but despite his giant appearance, he is an epitome of gentleness. He is an enthusiastic and passionate slayer. He is very strict about his duties. He is an extraordinary member of the demon slayer pillars. Rengoku is a caring person and values other people’s connections.

The Giyu character is of a disciplined, hardworking, and responsible person. He is all about work and his motto is to slay demons and protect humans. But even being such strict person, he let go of Nezuko even though she turned into a demon. He even takes responsibility for that. So he is trustworthy with good judgment.

Inosuke is another funny character who is very proud and goal-oriented, and his only goal is to be the strongest. He is very spontaneous and challenges anyone at any time. But no matter what, he is one of the best characters of the Demon slayer.

Nezuko is a very compassionate girl and even though she turned into a demon, she still has care and compassion for her family that is her brother. But thanks to Sakonji Urokodaki, she now sees every human as her family member and thus is not a harm for them. She not only fights for her family, but she also fights with the demon that is taking over her soul. She definitely has a strong kind and compassionate personality.

How can we not mention the lead character of the demon slayer, Tanjiro. Tanjiro is an extraordinarily kind character and he has this ability to communicate and connect with people. He even breaks through the wall of the introvert queen Kanoa. He not only cares for the humans but also empathizes with the demons and sees them as a victim rather than an enemy. He only hates one particular demon, Muzan.

Now the one topping off the list, the main villainous character of the show, Muzan. He is the first of his kind and the only one who can turn humans into demons. He is simply a cold-hearted monster with a ruthless personality. However, he tries to act innocent and blends with the society living happily as if he has not done any sins. He is very ambitious and selfish too.
